PUPPIES AND YOUNGSTERS

At this time, we do not have any puppies available for placement.  If you are searching for a puppy in the State of Florida or the South Florida area, please contact the "breeder referral" person for the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Southeast Florida, Inc.

If you live outside the State of Florida, please visit the American Shetland Sheepdog Association (ASSA) website and look under their "Finding a Breeder" section for the name of the breeder referral contact in your area.  This contact person should have knowledge of those in your area who would have puppies available for placement.

In your search for that special puppy, please be sure to inquire whether the puppy's sire and dam have been checked for hip dysplasia, thyroid function, and eye diseases.  If they have not been tested and received proper clearances, you should not purchase the puppy from that breeder.  Do not be hesitant to ask such questions!  Reputable breeders will have tested their breeding adults and will not be offended by your questions.

Please do not purchase a puppy from a pet store or backyard breeder.  Research who to buy a puppy from and be patient.  Puppy mills breed misery.  Ethical breeders test their breeding adults.
